Ana Alvarez received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in music in Choral Conducting in 2001 in Bogota, 哥伦比亚.

Ana is currently deepening her knowledge in conducting as a D.M.A. candidate at the University of Toronto with a research focus on performance practices of Latin American music.
